RecordLion Announces Enhanced Automation, Rules and Inbox with Latest Release

April 26, 2016 by Team RecordLion

We are pleased to announce the latest software release of our flagship product, Information Lifecycle.

RecordLion Information Lifecycle enables enterprise-wide information governance for high-volumes of content with complex retention schedules – keeping information "in-place" in the business system in which it originates.

This latest release provides improved automation through semantic classification and a more powerful rules engine. Instead of trying to add rules to content everywhere in the enterprise, RecordLion simplifies and improves the information governance process by adding rules to policies to classify content. Additionally, tasks such as records management, legal holds, content classification, and data cleanup and migration are notably more efficient. These enhanced features allow for complete information governance across the enterprise, no matter the repository.

Additional enhancements include:

  • Automated closing of Record Categories
  • Actionable steps on records declaration
  • Customizable Disposition Inbox
  • Automatic Destruction Certificates
  • Easily import your file plans from spreadsheets and external systems
  • Additional meta data elements for more powerful classifications

“This release is a revolutionary step forward in the governance of information and greatly simplifies an enterprise’s ability to implement an over-arching information governance solution with little or no end-user involvement or impact to its current internal systems,” said Chris Caplinger, President, RecordLion.

This is the fourth major release for Information Lifecycle. RecordLion offers an open webinar every Tuesday at 11AM CST for more information on building and maintaining an Information Governance plan for all corporate information. Visit to register.
